中加交流生班的学生们，在加拿大两位老师的指导下，举办了一次快乐的万圣节化妆晚会。晚会上，同学们和外教装扮怪异而有创意，在一起开心游戏和学习，了解了很多关于万圣节的词汇和风俗。

Halloween party

After two weeks’ preparetion, the Halloween party finally took place on October 31st at International Department of Mingde High School.

Halloween is one of t most popular festival in North America. People usually dress in costumes and make up themselves as a ghost or monster.

The purpose of the party is to dress up and make up to scare people. It was very challenging for us to prepare a party for over 100 people, which includes both students and teachers as guests. With no experience, we had to do everything by ourselves without Canadian teachers’ guide. We had about twelve students’ who were in charge of cleaning, music, decoration and purchase.

The guests were not only from International Department but also from other classes. The whole atmosphere was pretty scary at the beginning of the party. Most guests dressed up, and enjoyed the sound of screaming that we prepared.

In order to learn more English, every guest was required to speak English during the party, and the person who speaks Chinese too much would get a punishment. We also invited many students to give us a performance, like the guitar club , the dance club, the music club and the English club as well, and they brought the whole party to the high point. Later, we played a couple of games for fun and ended the party with dance music.

After the party, we came out more new ideas for learning English. We are going to set up an International Club for those students who are interested in learning English. Now, we will start planning a Christmas party soon, and welcome to join us. I believe all students can benefit from a lot of interesting activities.
